Warranty
What should I do if I believe an Invisalign aligner or retainer, or a Vivera retainer is defective and should be replaced under warranty?
As described in the Pricing Terms and Conditions, Invisalign® aligners and retainers and Vivera™ retainers, including replacements, are warranted to conform to their description, to be free from defects in material and workmanship, and to be of satisfactory quality within the industry.
If you believe the product should be replaced under warranty, these replacements can be ordered online from the patient’s file:
Aligners: Under the Patient’s file, go to Supplemental order options > Warranty > Aligner has a quality issue.
Retainers: Under the Patient’s file, go to Supplemental order options > Vivera or Invisalign Retainers > Warranty Defect.

In the interim, the doctor may choose to ask the patient to wear the previous set of aligners to maintain teeth position.
